Post Sunday+Monday Blues

Two days ago, the Sunday, I was waken up by a SMS from my sister telling me that the SPCA trip was cancelled as she was in no hurry to adopt a pet. Eric was in camp and so I had no where to go. I messaged Kenzo online to ask him out for movie, and subsequently roped in Eddy as well. We watched "Meet Dave" at The Cathay, and thereafter we went Bt Timah for supper.

One thing I like to have supper at Bt Timah is because of the location that attracts youngsters there. Guys to be exact. Hehe. There I was, gobbing down chicken nasi briyani and onion pratas few hours before my IPPT. Over the supper, I finally brought up a topic which I was thinking over for a few days. Exactly how far can you go just to fulfill your bosses' expectations? I was unable to clear a vehicle for entry to some place where my boss was supposed to attend a meeting. What's the big deal? I'm the one who drives and I can always alight him then I drive off to park somewhere. Apparently, my fellow colleague suggested calling our friend from another department to help us clear the vehicle. And so I was thinking, is there a need to go to such extent? But in anyways, I just did so for the sake of settling this whole issue.

Monday came with THE morning exercise that I was prepared and not prepared at the same time. I attended IPPT and got a "Passed". That's it. I wondered, I could have gotten a "Silver" if only I can jump further and shuttled-run faster. My 2.4km was not fast but at least at a "Silver" standard. Shucks.
