Papa's Bdae Dinny and City Square Invasion

28 Sept was the night where we had a "family" gathering again. It was papa's birthday celebration and since I had a $20 discount voucher at the Soup Restaurant, I left office at about 6.30pm for Compass Point to meet them up. Actually my sis and I had discussed months back to go there eat some day however due to our own personal committment and no-reason-to-go-there, we could only make it on this day.

Well, the decoration of the restaurant is quite unique and the food is not bad. A few of their dishes are quite special, especially with the names and the way they were being presented to us. I didn't take much pictures then because of two reasons. One, I'm hungry. Two, I'm hungry. Haha~

Soup Restaurant @ Compass Point, Sengkang

Shark's fin melon soup. My favourite!

Some of the dishes that we ordered. There were more but came later.

Interior deco of the restaurant. Very cheena huts erected within.

29 Sept was the fateful day where I sent my darling Lancer down to Sin Ming Dr at about 12pm to get it repaired. I was told that I can only collect my car the next day and I was like... "SIANZ". But anyway, I parted with my car and headed for Johor Bahru (JB) to get what we had planned for. Mooncakes! Not exactly what I had planned for though, rather it's more like a mission that my mama gave! Hahaha~

Reached JB around 1pm plus? We spent all the time inside City Square scouting for mooncakes. What are the tastier mooncakes? Any special flavours? Is it value for money? Will this packing be nicer than the previous store? These are the few considerations when we were buying, especially when we were getting them as gifts.

Had lunch at the Japanese restaurant where we missed it during the last trip down there. Woah.. The food there is nice~ But the music there is... erm... boring... ZZzzzz... We continued to walk abit more before settling down at Wong Kok HK Cafe. Yeah... Hong Kong cafes AGAIN. Heh. Oh yeah! We had our haircut at REDS @ City Square, JB branch. Haha~

Can't remember what's the name of this Japanese restaurant.

Nevermind the person, just see the menu behind his back pls.. =X

Nevermind the background, pls focus on the person.. Haha

Tempura Bento des neh!

Unagi Bento des neh!

Woah~~ Oyishii~

Looking for drinks for our thirsty throat..

阿丹与阿桃的故事

Sssllluuurrpppp~~~

Quite a day at JB and while on the way back to Singapore, my car workshop called me and told me that my car is ready for collection! Yippy~ So I collected my car, meet Philip at City Hall where-we-were-supposed-to-buy-the-tickets-for-Sandy-Lam's-concert-but-the-counter-is-closed, shopped at SportsMenAsia.com, dinner at DeliFrance Chinatown Point and sent Philip home. Oh wait. There's two more stuff that me and Kev did after that. Hahaha~ After the tragedy of my car, Kev was suggesting that I should drive down to Loyang Dua Pek Gong to get my car blessed and free from accidents. Haha~ Well, no harm anyway and I can pray for other stuff as well there. So we drove down to Loyang and prayed for our own wishes.

Hmm... I know some of the readers (if there are) here will say. "WHAT! AGAIN???!" Because after praying at Loyang, we went Xin Wang HK Cafe @ Kovan!! So many people and soooo noisy! Furthermore my cutie is not working.. Sigh.

Mission accomplished!

Pulse In A Tutti Frutti Rhythm

Dinner at Ramen Ramen was not a bad experience before our movie at The Cathay. The food is reasonably priced and seats are easily available. Had a quick meal and headed down to The Cathay to meet up with Edward and watch Pulse.

Painted characters all over the wall of Ramen Ramen Restaurant

A tea cup only for left handers?

Miso Ramen, SSC and Calamari Rings

Yakitori is something I have not eaten for a long time

Can't smile. Hungry. =X

Pulse seemed crappy to me and it seems to me still. Talks about how spirits made use of high speed frequency to roam freely across the countries to absorb human energy. Ending was such that if you stay away from towns or cities with data or line connections, you are safe. I think I can stay on an island to keep me safe. Heh.

Had a drink at Mr. Bean's after the movie. Yeah. Mr. Bean's again. For the sake of Kev, for the sake of letting him see his cutie, we were back there again. Oh well, the cutie sure is working ya. Shortly past midnight, Edward parted with us as he needs to catch the last bus.

Thereafter, we went to Taboo as Calvin and Lawrence were there. Tutti Frutti Night as it is. Long queue. Fustrated patrons. And packed body-to-body rubba dancefloor. Still prefer Handbag Party Night though. So I shall only visit Taboo once per month. Heh. Saw Chris, Daniel, Kenny again. And other familar faces. Who doesn't? Haha. Bert and Samuel brought two new friends whom I cannot remember one of the names. Shucks. Better not to mention here. Haha. Thought Winson might turn up but then... =X

Sent Bert home before heading down for supper/breakfast. Sending? Yeah sending. I drove. Can't bear to leave my darling alone during weekends so I had decided to drive it out. Anyway, me and Kev were back to Xin Wang HK Cafe at Kovan. Spotted another cutie! So my type~ But kinda fair. Heh.

Reached home about 5.30am this morning. *Yawnz*

Dear Idiot...

Dear Idiot,

You are the reason that I can blog tonight.

There was my car PARKED at an empty carpark, and yet you can grazed past my PARKED car. If I know who you are, I'll make sure your car is disfigured until beyond recognition.

Maybe the next time round when you as such a lousy driver crash onto something, it might be a on-coming train.

My darling will be out of sight until further notice.

Attitude Bitch @ Punggol Nasi Lemak

Just cannot forget about that bitch at Punggol Nasi Lemak that night. Unforgettable~~

First of all, the face is not appealing at all. Smile bitch.. SMILE! SMILE LIKE WHAT 3,999,999 OF THE SINGAPOREANS ARE DOING!

Secondly, sevice is damn freaking poor. I requested to cut da piece of chicken wing for me and you said, " We don't cut for you hor." Thanks ah~ I will do you a favour by cutting you up after you are being deep-fried with your chicken wings.

However there's one thing you did well. Lowly servants and bitches like you shall not raise your head up to look at those who pay to eat your nasi lemak and you have complied to that.

Nothing to do but to blog something in here. Haha~

First night at @++ic@

After finishing my third last shift for IMF, I went home and quickly dressed myself for my first appearance in @++ic@. I had decided to drive out since I didn't want to take a cab back home, or I still can go elsewhere for supper. Met up with Eddy, Albert and his friends Andrew and Winson.

@++ic@ is big! With level 1 as the chill out section, and the second floor with the house music and a dancefloor. There's even a courtyard just right behind level 1 before going up to level 2! Music was quite alright, although not as happening as handbag parties. Bumped onto few people there like Chris, Kenny, Luke, Jarvis and his friend (can't remember da name), Edward, etc.

Eddy left 1.30am because he's working today morning. Then we left at about 2.30am as some of us were quite tired already. Had supper at Punggol Nasi Lemak before sending them home.

=================================================

Still trying to break through my own force shield to get involved with the people I'm interested in. Seems like taking ages for the shield to get thinner. Probably there's not push and pull factor, that's why it is so.

OMGIF aka Oh My God It's Friday!

Waahh~~ It's Friday already and I will be slogging at work in Suntec Convention tonight! September is gonna pass very fast. Rained the whole day and I never realised it. That's because I slept for more than 12hrs and my room is dark enough to block off the sunlight, if there's any. And basically I won't be able to hear then rain too as my doors and windows are shut. And the worst thing is, both my wall clock and table clock are not working! I'm like trapped in a box without knowing the time and what's happening outside~ Kinda cool though. I still have my PC, radio, TV and PS2. Haha~

Woke up at 3.30pm nothing to do. Chatted with Kev and Daniel, had my late lunch, edited my pics and still chatting with Kev. Suddenly thought of my shopping list. So I better list it down inside this entry, at least I still can refer before I forget any stuff.

Shopping List
1) Bag (for work)
2) Belt (for work)
3) More ear studs
4) Beach mat
5) Book on Yoga (any to recommend?)
6) Season Parking Coupon (3 months)
7) ??? *lost*

Can't think anymore. I'm sure there's more stuff that I need to get. Hmm...

Slept for almost 10 hours from 11am. Chatted with my friends online for awhile and went down to get dinner, I have been saving quite alot during my work because of the food catered to me~ 5 meals per day with snacks and even cup noodles in the middle of the night!

Anyway, the main point I wana stress here is not about the welfare that I have at work. Coming back to where I went down to get dinner earlier on. While I was waiting for the lift to come down, there's is guy who turned around and started to give me that grin-and-stare look. Not exactly errie but it's more like cruising me! WTF! At this hour and at such a location! He kept looking at him like wanting to eat me up, I was thinking "Don't look at me as though you have not seen a guy for thousand years, but I can already smell you miles away!" And I really mean smell him! He smells like he has not bathed for months! Sheesh! Lucky for him that he didn't appraoch me, otherwise I WILL TAKE HIM DOWN. He came out of da lift at level 4 anyway. Phew~

7 more days to the end of the event! And it's time for me to get back in shape after that! Although Jackson says that I had slimmed down, I seemed to gain weight instead! Well, at least that's what I feel. Personally. Heh.

Yey~ Moving on to the 2nd day of my shift and I hope that tonight will be peaceful all night! Yesterday was in such a mess! No coordination, alot of "don't know's", lost, etc. All thanks to the planner aka my fellow colleague from the other unit.

Luckily I had my share of fun and relaxation during the weekend already. Thanks to my kor and my friends. Handbag parties are so exciting!!!

Me Contradicting Me

Sometimes, deciding to get involved into a relationship is really such a sticky issue. Especially when it comes to the initial stage, where you have to decide whether the other party is the right one for you or not, it's not about by judging based on looks and character only. Getting into a relationship with someone means having to spend most of your time with him and this is the fun part, well to some people it is fun, where both parties can explore each other's lifestyle and habits. However I'm no risk taker here. It's not about following the lyrics of the song 勇气 and faithfully believe that you can do it. Unforeseen factors, that you may not even ever considered before, are everywhere. But of course, believing in it is the first step. I'm just plain lazy. Duh.

While I'm saying that I'm not a risk taker, sadly to say I'm already taking a risk whenever I'm in a relationship. Who is not taking this minimal risk when they are attached? Who can guarantee a everlasting love nowadays? Who can guarantee a unbreakable wedlock in this era? Especially in this circle of mine, very often than not people think that they can find one easily as long as they have the looks and "market value". Oh well, I guess that they could have slept with each and every goodlooking ones in this island already. Haha.

I recalled there was once when my partner (which is my ex now obviously) felt that we were not right for each other. The "me" at that time was handling my relationships in quite a neutral manner already. Well anyway, he said he wanted some time to consider and think about our relationship. The first thing that struck my mind is that he is having doubts about our relationship. Please don't give me the crap of 3-days-to-think-about-it thingy. If I'm benevolent enough, I might give you 3 seconds. These 3 seconds are to let you confirm if you are having doubts or not. That's all.

To all heart-breakers & heart-breakees:
It isn't the end of the world. The clock still ticks and the earth still revolves.

Nothing more to say about it. Just another crappy blog entry. Haha.

Subconsciously, my likings for you have grown gradually.
Whenever my friends mentioned about you,
I will wonder where are you now or what are you doing at that moment.
My mind will drift away from where my physical location is and think of you.
I will think of whether you are able to cope with your school work, or have you finally met up with your special one.
Yeah. Your special one.

Oh bugger. It's just plain me having a one-sided affair here. And erm, I think it's not even an affair yet. Simple crush on the person yet bears complex and mixed feelings. Ironical isn't it? No big deal to have a crush on someone ya? I guessed that everyone has such incidents.

I'm blogging for the sake of blogging tonight. Blogging for the sake of record purpose. Blogging for the sake of letting you know? Nay. Not for this particular reason.

So like I actually bother to bottle this issue up till the end of time? I would rather confess to you, put on my Gucci shades, wave my hand at you and say, "That's all." *roll eyes*
Oh oh oh.. Something to share with those who hasn't been to Quality Hotel for da Teow Cheow Porridge buffet. $6.80 nett from 10.30pm to 2.30pm!! Wide spread of food stuff from those classical Teow Cheow Porridge side dishes to other fanciful dishes like fried noodles, yam cake, toufu goreng, ice-cream, etc. Be sure to reach there by 10pm if you don't wana end up queueing~ Oh yeah.. Bump onto Winston, who visited the place for the 3rd time, while we were there like the first time? Glad that he still recognises me. Hahaha~

Went for late lunch with Kev at Xin Wang Hongkong Cafe today. Tried taking photos with my new toy before the food is being served to us. Nice place to eat at however no cuties to see. Sigh.

Heartland folks at Heartland Mall, Kovan

Taking self-pic with my ugly specs

Stir-fried noodles with black pepper beef, and ying yong tea.

Are you trying to open up wide your sleepy eyes?

Anyway, we went to Queensway Shopping Centre to walk before going to Tiong Bahru Plaza for our movie. I had no intention to buy anything from there actually, but for the sake of Kev who dying to see da Adidas shoes which he eventually bought, we drove there for a short while. And there, guess who I bumped into? Jason aka Yutaka! We were corresponding with each other in SMSes few days back and there he was standing in front of me. Oh well, I didn't notice him anyway. And the one SMS which he sent and I can't stand it was "My god. You gained weight! You have been eating?" Thanks Jason. Thanks.

The Devil Wears Prada is cool! Coincidentally, I've become one of those "clackers"!! Muahaha~ I think I shall try throwing my coat and bag to my colleague who sits just by the door, and instruct him to get a cup of piping HOT coffee from Starbucks in 15mins time~ "That's all."

Latest shot once I'm back home! Muahaha~

Thou shall not speculate for the sake of speculating. Respect for the sake of those who deserve the respect.
