For the better of us.

Leo, please see the change in me. Let this message spread to everyone who read this and be my witness. If there is any single moment where I will do you wrong again. I'll accept any sentence you pass on me.

[Nobody]

You Know I still Love You Baby.
And it will never change. (Saranghae)

I want nobody nobody But You, I want nobody nobody But You
How can I be with another, I don't want any other
I want nobody nobody nobody nobody

Why are you trying to, to make me leave ya
I know what you're thinking
Baby why aren't you listening
How can I just
Just love someone else and
Forget you completely
When I know you still love me

Telling me you're not good enough
My life with you is just too tough
You know it's not right so
Just stop and come back boy
How can this be
When we were meant to be

I want nobody nobody But You, I want nobody nobody But You
How can I be with another, I don't want any other
I want nobody nobody nobody nobody

I want nobody nobody But You, I want nobody nobody But You
How can I be with another, I don't want any other
I want nobody nobody nobody nobody

Why can't we just, just be like this
Cause it's you that I need and nothing else until the end
Who else can ever make me feel the way I
I feel when I'm with you, no one will ever do

Telling me you're not good enough
My life with you is just too tough
You know me enough so
You know what I need boy
Right next to you is where I need to be.

I don't want no body, body
I don't want no body, body

Honey you know it's you that I want, it's you that I need
Why can't you see~

I want nobody nobody But You, I want nobody nobody But You
How can I be with another, I don't want any other
I want nobody nobody nobody nobody

Back to the days when we were so young and wild and free
Nothing else matters other than you and me
So tell me why can't it be
Please let me live my life my way
Why do you push me away
I don't want nobody nobody nobody nobody but you.

Thank you Bill Cosby

Because of you...

Because of you

I never stray too far from the sidewalk

Because of you

I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt

There can be miracle, when you believe...

Many nights we pray

With no proof anyone could hear

And our hearts a hopeful song

We barely understood

Now we are not afraid

Although we know there's much to fear

We were moving mountains long

Before we know we could

There can be miracles

When you believe

Though hope is frail

It's hard to kill

Who knows what miracles

You can achieve

When you believe

Somehow you will

You will when you believe

In this time of fear

When prayer so often proves in vain

Hope seems like the summer birds

Too swiftly flown away

And now I am standing here

My heart's so full I can't explain

Seeking faith and speaking words

I never thought I'd say

There can be miracles

When you believe (When you believe)

Though hope is frail

It's hard to kill

Who knows what miracles

You can achieve (You can achieve)

When you believe

Somehow you will

You will when you believe

They don't always happen when you ask

And it's easy to give in to your fear

But when you're blinded by your pain

Can't see your way safe through the rain

Thought of a still resilient voice

Says love is very near

There can be miracles (miracles)

When you believe (When you believe)

Though hope is frail

It's hard to kill

Who knows what miracles

You can achieve (You can achieve)

When you believe

Somehow you will

You will when you believe

You will when you believe

You will when you believe

Just believe

You will when you believe

Michael Jackson (1958 - 2009)

Michael Joseph Jackson, a superstar singer who did not want to grow up and so he related himself as Peterpan, passed away on 25 June 2009. He was 50 year old. When I saw the news announcement on that very night while I was having supper, I couldn't believe it. I thought, "Michael Jackson died? So fast? So sudden?" News of his passing then poured in one after the other on the subsequent days and weeks. Cause of death, what happened, his family, children, his fortune and his pasts.

No doubt that I'm not a MJ fan, but indeed I grow up with his songs during my teenage years. His songs are the first few English songs that I've heard when I was much younger, be it from radio or my elder sister's player. From his 1982 "Billie Jean" to 1991 "Black or White" to 2002 "You Rock My World", and other of his famous songs like "We Are The World" and "Heal The World" which I have a liking for it because of MJ's simple and pure intention to bring the "World Peace" message out to the whole world as a humanitarian. The song is just so familiar to me whenever or wherever it was played. And yes, not to forget his ever popular Moonwalk and gravity-defying dance moves.

And it is so cool to even have him as game character during the 1980s. Michael Jackson tossing a coin into the jukebox to start the game and his chimpanzee partner would fight alongside with him. His attack moves are throwing his hat to a distance and hit the enemies, or his super attack will be the group dance move from his song "Smooth Criminal" where every enemy will die after dancing with him.

Watching MJ's 7 July 09 Memorial Service at the Staples Centre in LA (where he is supposed to stage his comeback concert) streaming live on CNN.com, I've never thought that I'd cry for him. Millions of people in USA witnessed the Service, billions of people all over the world witness the Service. His families, relatives, friends, fans, celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Brooke Shields, Queen Latifah and many more came to attend the Service. He has already earned the fame from all his fans, and so he is known as "The world's greatest entertainer ever lived". The Memorial Service is probably the largest Service in the entertainment history, maybe bigger than Elvis Presley's. It was an honour to witness such an event, where so many people celebrated his life and commemorate his passing.

And so I shall say thank you for the songs which make me difficult to forget you.

Good Bye Michael Jackson, Wacko Jacko, King of Pop, whatever you are remembered as.

Random updates

Travelled to Penang and Hat Yai to eat and sightsee during mid June. Mainly temples because the trip was organised by my elder sister from RC whereby most of the participants are housewives and middle-aged ladies. Haha. But they are sure fun to travel with! And not to forget, eating bowls and bowls of bird's nest in Hat Yai cannot be compared with Bangkok.

Went for a long run recently from Fort Road to Bedok Jetty and back which I think it took me almost 2 hours to complete. The run was good, although I think I need to take up more of such distance to get used to it.

Went for my IPPT last Monday, and got a Pass only although I was aiming for a Silver. The killer station is Standing Broad Jump, so it's time for me to train my leggies~ Nevermind, I shall aim for my shooting since I can't get my incentive for IPPT. *hmmph*

Watched Tansformers 2 last Friday which I think it was very good! However it was the typical US patriotic-America-save-the-world plot, other than that the visual effects and shooting is terrific. I like it!

Had my durian trip last Saturday, up to Tangkak which is near to Malacca. This trip was organised by my elder sister, again, because her friends requested for it almost immediately after our Penang/Hat Yai trip. We tasted different types of durians from D2, D13, D24, D82, D101, ice cream, 猫山王 and 金凤. Then we went to Tebrau Jusco for coffee before heading for our dinner to end our day. Planning for my next Malaysia trip in mid July.... lol

Q: Should I carbo-load one week before the marathon?

Yes carbo-loading is definitely essential, though it varies for everyone. To put it simply, it actually involves starving the body of carbohydrates first before going into a week-long diet that comprises largely of carbohydrates. When to starve, when to eat and what to eat definitely varies for everyone. If you’re getting serious in races and would like to take your training to the next level, speak to a nutritionist for best results.

Enjoyable week so far

Have been Facebooking quite frequently recently and I like the feature whereby I can send my status via SMS and it updates both Twitter site and Facebook. Haha! But it seems that there are some problems with mobile Twitter, it failed to update both sites...

Finally made up my mind to buy Tomb Raider: Underworld and I got addicted to it! Played the game for hours the moment I laid my hands on it once I was free on Saturday, and I managed to rest for about four hours before I left home on Sunday morning to go to Pulau Ubin.

And yes, to Pulau Ubin for my cycling trip with Leo, Jimmy and Dennis which I thought that the cycling "expedition" is just road and gravel tracks. I've never thought of experiencing super bumpy and humpy dirt trails! Luckily we didn't go for the most dificult trails, the Double Black Diamond. But I enjoyed the down slopes , quarry view and coconut drinks as we rested along the way. In conclusion, the cycling trip was "breath-taking" (literally). Do watch out for some photos upload in my photo blog!

Went for my facial on Monday evening after my work, which I realised that it was already my sixth session! This time round the session was a painful one, because of the sun exposure on Sunday, the extraction made me teared! *sobs* Then after my facial, I went dinner with Leo at Mos Burger as it was already quite late. I'm loving Natsumi Teriyaki Chicken burger and the corn soup! And yes! Their apple pie is back!

Had my haircut on Tuesday and I dyed my hair too this time round since I have more time than previous sessions. Good to have Heatha at Tampines branch since Ivan had left to Jurong Point. But I have not gotten my VIP card yet which made me paid cash instead of deducting the money from my account. DI'IS SUCKS! Haha~

Supposed to hit the gym on Wedesday, however went dinner with Shah at Orchard instead before meeting Leo at Tangs. It was Citibank Tangs Sales and we bought some Keihl's products. Time to kickstart for Great Singapore Sale maybe?

I've decided to jog tonight and so did I! We went for a relatively slow jog from my house to Punggol Park, made a round in the park before hitting back to my house. It was a good and comfortable run of 7.8km, nice pace and breathing speed!

Tomorrow is Eat-With-Your-Family Day where I can knock off at 5pm. I wonder what time will I be able to leave office...?

Random thoughts while at work

Random thoughts off my mind, haven't been doing much major stuff recently except that I drove up to Malaysia where my mum's hometown is and I stayed the night before driving back to Singapore. That was the very first time I drove up with my aunt's vehicle guiding in front of me. I shall try driving to Melacca next time. Hehe...

And I just realised that I haven't been to a club since God-know-when-was-the-last-time-I-went-Zirca! Not sure if I will be going after my exams.

Yeah, talking about my exams. I think I'll pass the one which I took last week, and the coming two exams should be kinda challenging. Afterall, I have not been writing for so long! -.-

My new work environment is better than my previous one, although work seems to be neverending too. Understanding bosses and hardworking assistants are nice to work with. Haha

No promotion for me this year, which everyone kept asking me because I'm supposed to be due for one this year. Well, frankly speaking I'm not really hardup for one. If one asks me whether I'm really disappointed, I would say that I may if I take considerations that I've been getting a "B" grade constantly and yet I'm not eligible for one. But heck, it's considered a bonus for me if I get it and too bad if I don't. Life goes on, work comes still. And I don't have to trouble myself to change my facial appointment which falls on the same day as the promotion ceremony. Haha~

Last but not least, I've been Facebooking like nobody's business! I'm loving it! Still! =]

Stop using Hydroxycut

Slimming supplement linked to cases of liver injury in US; distributor recalling products here
By Shuli Sudderuddin, Straits Times

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) is warning consumers to stop using Hydroxycut products.
Made by Iovate Health Sciences USA, they are being recalled in the United States due to reports of serious adverse reactions there.

Hydroxycut, a slimming supplement used by people trying to shed kilos and by bodybuilders to better define their muscles, has been linked to 23 cases of adverse reactions affecting the liver, including one death due to liver failure.

Hydroxycut products are distributed by Global Active in Singapore through GNC outlets and other retail outlets, including pharmacies. They are also sold over the Internet.

To date, no local reports of adverse reactions have been received in relation to the consumption of Hydroxycut products.

However, the HSA is concerned and does not want consumers to be exposed to any health risk. Global Active has initiated a voluntary recall of Hydroxycut products here.

The HSA advises consumers who have been taking them to stop doing so immediately and discard them. If they experience any adverse reactions or feel unwell, they should seek medical advice.

Symptoms of liver injury include jaundice, brown urine, nausea, vomiting, light-coloured stools, excessive fatigue, weakness, stomach or abdominal pain, itching and loss of appetite.

A GNC spokesman said the company started recalling the products after it was informed early yesterday by GNC in the United States.

Said the spokesman: 'GNC stores in Singapore have sold Hydroxycut for about 10 years. It had helped many shed some excess weight.

Used to....

I used to fear the number 23, because most of my steads become my EXes before even reaching that age.

I used to dislike the month of March, because the weather is usually hot and humid.

I used to constantly think that this year 2009 is going to be a bad one, because it was not that smooth sailing the year before.

But then again... Things change. Situation change. People change.

Promiscuity

"U've been promiscuous, we all hv eyes 2 see. Go get yrself checked! Dont infect yr innocent date! We all love him. He's 2 gd fer u! Stop ruining him wif yr promiscuity. He dserve betta den tt!
Powered by eSMS"

The above sms was sent by someone on 18 January 2009 @ 9.32am. I don't even remember there's such a service still exist nowadays. Hmmm.. eSMS... Does that person use this often? Or this person is so IT-savvy that he remembers such online services.

Anyway, don't understand why would this person be sending me such an sms. And I'm wondering why you have eyes to see, and yet you have no mouth to tell me in person? And are you trying to act God to love and protect someone? You're just like another loanshark splashing paint onto my door all of a sudden which I really wonder why you should do that.

To whoever you are, please remember this. It takes two hands to clap, which is definately not yours and mine. So if you think that promiscuity will haunt me forver, think again. And the quoted sms above that you sent has already determined how childish you are. =]

7 Days

One week, 7 days of events..
Not all shall need to be mentioned here..

Some bore you to the core,
some bother you to the max,
some haunt you to the end,
while there are some that you just wish they'll last forever.

Just realised one thing. Moments cannot last forever, because they are moments precisely.
