My Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Thursday and Friday at work this week was not very smooth sailing. Especially with little sleep over the two nights, I was practically yawning all the way during work.

I was prepared to hit the sack at 11pm on Thursday night however alot of thoughts ran through my head. About work, work, and more work. So I got up from my bed and watched two episodes of Sex and The City until 2am. I had gave it a thought, I think I should ask my boss the "Million-dollar Question" soon.

I met up with Eric on Friday after I wrapped up some of my work which I was ready to finish it over the weekend. I really missed him as I've not met him for almost a week. Yes. Go ahead and puke for all you want. Anyway. we went to watch Red Cliff at Causeway Point before heading back to my home. The movie attracted me with the war strategies and formations that I've always fascinated in Romance of the 3 Kingdom games. Well as for the talking scenes, let's skip the details.

Saturday was a not-so-ordinary day for me. I went to Ikea with Eric during the day. We bought stuffs like book folders, note pads, a framed picture and catus plants. Some stuff that we didn't plan to get until we got there and walked about to browse over. Talking about window shopping huh? Haha. I popped by at my colleague Patrick's place for his son's 2-year old birthday. Ethan is Patrick's first child and he is very cute. (Sorry, no photos though). Ethan never fails to smile in front of cameras and yeah, he's been trained to do so. While I was at the birthday party, with Patrick carrying Ethan in his arms, I had a thought in my mind. 'Is all this just a show?' I mean, Patrick's intention may only be for Ethan to be happy, but I suddenly feel that everyone present there seemed "plastic". Weird huh?

After the party, I drove Kenzo, Shah and Dino to Tampines Mall to catch Prom Night. We all so know about the plot before we even stepped into the theatre. Blond girl roaming around asking "Hello? Is anyone there?", then she starts to scream and run away from some psycho killer. Dino fell asleep, I think Shah was bored, Kenzo spent his 8 bucks looking through his fingers and I had a terrible headache. After the movie, we had supper at Simpang Bedok. Nice place. I shall go there again. =)
