Sengkang residents upset over delay in completion of sports complex - The New Paper (14 April 2008)
In summary, many Sengkang residents are not quite happy that the sports complex (which has a swimming complex, synthetic soccer field, dance studio, gymnasium and eating outlets) has not completed its works yet. The reason given Sports Council is that the construction is short of raw materials.
What made me laugh is the comment made by a Pastor from the Sengkang Methodist Church, "The complex as a whole will be of value to the people of Sengkang because we don't have anything else here."
